Did you know that rates of childhood obesity is skyrocketing? Especially since lockdown. Children are moving less and eating more refined foods than ever before. But this says more about wider society than it does the individual. Parents are working later and longer hours. Calories are cheap and easy to access.
Our perception of a “normal healthy body” is changing. A combination of time poverty, the ability to entertain ourselves without moving and changing cultural norms are leading to a rise in chronic disease.
