Here’s an easy way to decompress your neck!

Our necks are incredibly strong. However sometimes they hurt and when they do, traction can feel great.

I’m currently recovering from some nerve irritation (and a possible disc injury) in my neck and this position feels fantastic. Just by hanging your head off of the edge of a bed, that 5kg weight which is your head, can pull your vertebrae apart just enough to provide adequate relief.

We can then move our heads up and down from this position to turn it into an exercise which strengthens our necks.

Give it a go (as long as it’s comfortable and you have no ongoing health issues, especially regarding high blood pressure or cholestrol) and let us know how you get on
