Carbohydrates are extremely fast acting. They’re great for high intensity exercise, but when you’re not exercising, they can turn to fat. Here’s how to prevent that from happening.
- Consume most of your carbohydrates immediately after exercise. You’re less likely to store fat and less likely to feel lethargic
