The Ultimate Shoulder Exercise

I love this exercise. The curl and the press challenges the biceps, the rotator cuff and the prime movers of the shoulder. This makes it a common feature of a lot of our shoulder rehab. It teaches control, strength and confidence. 

A lot of the time, this is what rehab plans are lacking. Often patients come to us because they have only been given a basic rehab plan (if at all) and are left mid way between making a full recovery and where they were when they first started. 

Remember, when we have been hurt or injured for a long time, it can be because our capacity to deal with difficult things has reduced. Challenge yourself to gain that capacity back.
