I can’t tell you how many patients we have seen who have returned to exercise a bit too enthusiastically for their own good. But I can tell you that it’s so many, we have lost count.

So the question arises, “can I still train if I’m sore?”  Many people think that when they’re sore, they need to rest until they have recovered. This isn’t the case. Protein synthesis ie muscle growth occurs over 48 hours which means that we can train the same muscle group or do the same kind of activity every other day, pretty safely.

But how we go about this the right way is another question. Jas answers this question and provides you with the tools that you need to get back up on that horse!
