Your first step to a tight set of abdominal muscles

Now this will apply to you as a patient OR as a personal training client. A weak core is a useless core. Unfortunately, a lot of people get off on the wrong foot straight away when trying to strengthen their core.
Core strength is partly about trying to maintain a “brace position” which is what you do when you take a deep breath in and tense when you’re about to lift something, whilst being under load.
Leg raises are a great way to do this. I have filmed a video for you which shows you how to build your core strength step by step
